Back!!!

Boy, it seems like I've been gone for so long!!  This is my Friday finish.  I love this quilt even though I wasn't sure about the border choice. This quilt makes me smile.  Even my dogs Jake and Teddy put their stamp of approval on it.   I'm linking up with

Design wall Monday

I am so ready to finish this quilt. It seems like I've been working on it forever. (The last quilt I finished was a string quilt, so that's probably why).   I'm hooking up with Judy at http://www.patchworktimes.com for design wall Mondays.

Ready for the Quilting

Does it take you forever to decide on borders for a quilt?  This was the first fabric that I thought I'd have enough of to do the borders. Usually by the time to put the borders on I am in a big hurry to move onto the next project.  If I had plans on keeping this quilt, I might of spent more time on  border selection

This is my next quilt to finish. I'm thinking of putting black sashing  strips between the blocks.

Finally Finished!!!

This little wall hanging is finally finished. It was meant to be a Christmas present for a special friend who loves dogs and the Kentucky Wildcats. I guess it's now a Valentine's Day present!!

Front Porch Quilts Begins a New Blog

Hi there, a new journey begins for me, Karen Rowland!

Hopefully, I will be a committed blogger.  Maybe having a blog will keep me motivated to completing my quilts and sharing pictures of them with my family and friends.  My dogs Jake and Teddy really enjoy sharing my pictures. Above is an Ohio Star quilt.
